Patrick- The Gift.

My nutcracker wreaths are named after my Uncle Pat. Just over a year ago he became sick with what we would learn to be complications from West Nile. Didn’t see that on the Rivait Family bingo card! After lots of determination and support from his amazing medical team he continues to heal.

My Uncle has always made a point in life to help those around him; family, friends, even complete strangers. That is his gift. Him fighting back from a very scary time has been ours. So this is a colourful, joyful Patrick. Because life is beautiful and each day is truly a gift, just like him.

The Leo wreath, named after my Pip, has at least one airplane on it. They’re actually pretty hard to come by but I had found a small lot of ornaments that had one. They arrived wrapped in Christmas wrap, and when I went to thank the seller I noticed their name on the platform I had purchased them on; Buzzworthy. Pip’s nickname was Buzz. Always sending planes, always helping spread Christmas cheer. ✨
