Okay… you guessed speakeasy in Winnipeg’s Exchange District — and honestly, you weren’t far off. 👀

But here’s the reveal…

It’s a private residential speakeasy right here in Winnipeg. 🥃✨

And yes… it even has a secret entrance directly from the clients’ garage. 🤫

Inside, we went all in on the speakeasy feel — custom bar, backlit onyx, arched details, custom booth seating and moody lighting that makes this basement feel like anything but a basement.

From ribbon cutting to today…what a journey it’s been.

Six years ago, I stood in front of this building and cut the ribbon on one of the biggest dreams I had for my business.

I poured my heart and soul into renovating this space and creating a home for iDESIGN. Today, we’re saying goodbye.

It’s bittersweet. This space has held so many amazing memories, projects, milestones, conversations, and so much growth over the past six years.

But businesses grow and evolve, and our spaces need to evolve with them.

While I’m sad to leave, I’m also incredibly excited for what’s next.

We’re moving to 141 Bannatyne Ave, and it truly feels like the right next step for iDESIGN. The location is more central to Winnipeg, making it easier to serve clients across the city. We’ll also have a much better meeting room, an expanded design library, more functionality, and a space that better supports how our business operates today.

So this is a celebration of everything Corydon has been, and everything still to come. ✨

900 Corydon Ave, thank you for six incredible years. You’ll always have a piece of my heart. 🤍

I truly have no idea where the time has gone. It feels like just yesterday I was walking you into kindergarten, and now here you are graduating from high school.

Watching you grow into the young man you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of everything you’ve accomplished. Your outstanding grades, being chosen to represent your class with such an incredible speech, and the dedication you’ve shown over the years are just the beginning of all I know you’ll achieve.

What makes me the proudest, though, is the person you have become. You are kind, witty, caring, and someone who makes life more fun for everyone around you. Those qualities will take you farther than any grade or award ever could.

I love you more than words can ever express, and I cannot wait to watch your future unfold. Congratulations, Tristan. We are so proud of you, and this is only the beginning. ❤️🎓

After so many incredible years at our current studio, iDESIGN INC. is officially moving to a new home in the heart of Winnipeg’s Exchange District.

Our move to 141 Bannatyne Ave. reflects an exciting new chapter for our team — a more centralized location that allows us to better serve clients across the Winnipeg community while creating more space for creativity, collaboration, and what’s ahead.

This studio has been part of so many amazing projects, memories, meetings, late nights, and big ideas… and while it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to a space that has meant so much to us, we couldn’t be more excited for this next step.

Behind the scenes, we’re busy renovating and thoughtfully designing the new studio to better support both our team and our clients — including an expanded sample library and updated creative spaces. We can’t wait to share the transformation with you. ✨
