This hand embroidered child's shirt was brought in for framing and we stitched it to a background mat using Artique mat Ink. A foamboard form was put in the shirt to lighten it and give it shape. The frame we used was Larson Juhl Carnivale Pina Colada. UV 70 glass was used for low reflection and amazing clarity.

We can float your boat!😂

A floater frame is a frame that is usually used for paintings or prints on canvas. The design of the frame is so that the edges of the canvas are exposed with the painting inset into the frame. Usually, the surface of the painting is just below the face of the frame with around a quarter of an inch gap between the edge of the canvas and the inside edge of the frame. In this case we used Larson Juhl Eiffel Silver as the frame. Inspired by the famous Paris Eiffel Tower, metallic finishes mimic the tower's wrought iron structure.❤️

Come and see us if you love 💕💕💕💕we are looking forward to seeing you and tour beautiful art piece.

Skppy, portrait of a dog as a coloured etching was framed using Bainbridge Alphalinen mat Seurat Sand, made from the finest quality Belgian linen. Here we have used a wider mat margin of 4 inches to show off the beauty of the linen mat and give the picture more substance. A mottled brown mat was used as a second mat. The frame is a simple traditional profile in medium walnut stain. Museum Glass was used for 99% UV protection against fading and amazing low glare clarity.❤️❤️

Maple Leaf Gardens official magazine from 1967 featuring Tim Horton on the cover. I cut the blue mat (Bainbridge Bijou) and foamcore to the exact size of the magazine for a friction fit. Mylar strips were used to fasten the magazine to the backing underneath the cover and running vertically so the hinging of the magazine was done archivally and the magazine can be removed without removing any tape. Black mat was cut to cover the top leaving ¼ inch of the blue mat revealed. Larson Juhl Confetti Royal Blue frame was used. Glazed with Museum Glass for 99% UV protection against fading and amazing low glare clarity.❤️❤️

This award certificate was framed using Bainbridge Imperial blue fabric mat with black bevel accent as the submat. The frame used was Larson Juhl Zeppelin Antique Aluminum. The look of industrial, oxidized metal complements both contemporary and rustic styles of art and decor. I always felt this frame has an Art Deco feel to it. Notice the detailing on the edge of the frame, which is an unusual feature to find. Museum glass was used to prevent fading and for amazing clarity.

The great thing about framing is the options available - truly an individual choice every time - no two projects are ever the dame❤️
