Project Joynson has been completed in thoughtful phases over the years, each space building on the last with intention and longevity in mind.

This loft brings together custom stained rift oak millwork, tailored storage, soft neutral finishes, and warm ambient lighting to create a space that feels both elevated and effortless.

A reminder that timeless design is rarely completed all at once.

Project Yale.

Some homes don’t ask to be reinvented.

They ask to be understood.

This home carried a quiet sense of history and character long before we arrived, and our goal was never to compete with that. Instead, we focused on creating a kitchen that felt as though it had always belonged here; layering custom-stained red oak, soft painted cabinetry, warm brass accents, and timeless materials that honour both the home’s past and the way it is lived in today.

One of the things I continue to learn as a designer is that great design is never just about creating something beautiful…

It’s about finding harmony between form and function, between old and new, between vision and reality.

Every project teaches us something. Every home asks different questions. And every client leaves us with lessons that make us better at what we do.

What I love most about this space is that it feels settled. Collected. Rooted.

Not because it demands attention, but because it feels like it belongs.

And in a home with so much history, that felt like the highest compliment we could hope to achieve.

This business is so much more than a renovation company.

It’s the little girl’s dream that never quite went away, and the unexpected dream it became when I met the man who would one day build it alongside me.

Every day we get the privilege of creating beautiful spaces, but the real gift has been everything happening behind the scenes.

The lessons learned. The trust built. The people we’ve met. The marriage we’ve strengthened. The future we’re creating for our children.

We believe the gifts we’ve been given were never meant to be kept to ourselves. They were meant to be shared in service of others.

That’s what keeps us showing up.

Not just because we love the work, but because we love the purpose behind it.
