In this role, you will split your time, as needed, between assisting in the on-site installation of quartz and granite countertops, and working in the fabrication shop. You will be expected to support repair and service work to ensure top-notch quality, and perform heavy lifting and transportation of materials. Experience with CNC operating and programming (CAD) is an asset but training will be provided. Following safety protocols and listening closely to experienced team members will be essential for your success.

Adding a stone surface to the top of a pony wall can give it a boost of function in your space. It can be a great spot to put snacks or drinks while entertaining, freeing up your main countertops for other prep work.

Houses are rarely perfectly square, but when you're cutting large, heavy slabs of countertop stone with a CNC, it's incredibly important to get accurate measurements. To do this, we use a process called Digital Templating where we use a tripod-mounted laser to measure the countertop space. This allows us to get precision digital measurements that are then used to create a perfectly-shaped piece of stone. Digital Templating allows us to easily and accurately measure oddly-shaped spaces and around obstacles with ease, something that can be very difficult to do manually.

This is a great question that we hear often!

Depending on how busy we are, our goal is that once you sign a contract, we’d have someone out to digitally template the space and get precision measurements as soon as you're available for scheduling. Once we have the measurements, it takes approximately 5-7 days from templating to get to installation day. Timelines can vary depending on a number of reasons, but we’ll let you know up front what those might be.
