A well-designed space rarely comes down to one single piece. It’s the way texture, scale, light and balance work together that gives a room depth and makes it feel complete.

Window treatments play a big role in that equation. Beyond privacy and light control, they can soften a space, frame a view and introduce the colour, pattern or texture that helps everything else feel more intentional.

There aren’t always “rules” when it comes to good design. Sometimes, the choice that feels a little unexpected is exactly what makes a room work.

In this office, placing the desk in the centre of the room wasn’t necessarily the obvious layout, but it gave us the freedom to think about the space as a whole. It created room for the sofa, rug and surrounding pieces to have their own presence, while still keeping the office functional, open and comfortable.

Good design isn’t always about following convention. It’s about understanding proportion, flow and how each element works together to create a space that feels intentional.

Our favourite thing about designer fabrics is that the possibilities are truly endless.
