Some people come into your life at exactly the right moment and forever change the course of your life.
When I first met Priscilla Hauser as a young artist, I had no idea how profoundly she would shape my journey. She taught me to find beauty in the process of learning, to extend grace to those discovering their own creative voice, to trust the journey, and to believe in myself as an artist.
Over the years, she became so much more than a teacher. She became a trusted friend, a constant source of encouragement, and someone whose generosity has inspired countless artists around the world.
People often ask what it means to be a mentor. I believe it means seeing something in another person before they can see it in themselves. It means lifting someone into a place of confidence and belief that becomes the foundation for an entire lifetime of creating.
That is who Priscilla is.
She has spent her life opening doors for others, encouraging artists to dream bigger, and reminding them that they are capable of more than they ever imagined. She didn’t just influence my career—she changed the trajectory of my life.
Priscilla, thank you for sharing your wisdom so generously, for believing in me long before I fully believed in myself, and for inspiring generations of artists to pick up a brush with confidence and joy. Your legacy lives on in every artist whose life you’ve touched, and I will always be grateful that our paths crossed. ❤️
