Our summer sewing lessons are the same amazing lessons we offer the rest of the year but packed into five consecutive (Monday to Friday) three hours classes.

If you're nine years old (or older) now is the time to start sewing. You'll learn how to use your machine and start building your skills by practicing and then applying what you learned to make nifty projects.

VOLUNTEER CALL OUT:

Bike Camp helps children living with a disability learn to independently ride a two-wheel bike using adapted equipment, trained professionals, and volunteer support. About 80% of riders learn to ride independently, while the remaining riders make tremendous progress toward that goal.

Training is provided, and volunteers help encourage and support riders during their sessions.

What to Expect as a Volunteer:
• Walk, jog, or run alongside a rider during a 75-minute session (with short breaks).
• Support and encourage riders while providing physical assistance when needed.

Volunteer dates:

Week 1: June 29–July 3
Week 2: July 6–July 10

Location: East End Arena Transcona
