FOLLOW THE DRUM: 2026 TREATY ONE POWWOW TRAIL 🪶

The 2026 Treaty One Powwow Trail is here, and we invite you to gather with us this summer as our Nations come together to celebrate culture, community, and tradition.

Each stop along the trail is a chance to experience the strength and beauty of Anishinaabe culture through song, dance, food, family, and the heartbeat of the drum. From June through August, our Treaty One Nations will welcome dancers, singers, families, and visitors to share in these meaningful celebrations.

2026 Treaty One Powwow Trail:

📍 Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation – June 19–21
📍 Swan Lake First Nation – July 3–5
📍 Peguis First Nation – July 21–23
📍 Anishinaabe Days @ Naawi-Oodena – July 25–26
📍 Long Plain First Nation – July 31–August 2
📍 Sagkeeng First Nation – July 31–August 2
📍 Brokenhead Ojibway Nation – August 7–9
📍 Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation – August 21–23

A highlight on the trail is Anishinaabe Days, taking place July 25–26 at Naawi-Oodena in Winnipeg. This free, family-friendly celebration brings together all Nations and all walks of life for powwow, live entertainment, food, activities, and a powerful celebration of Anishinaabe identity and unity.

Bring your family, support our Treaty One Nations, and join us as we honour tradition, celebrate culture, and make lasting memories across the 2026 Treaty One Powwow Trail.

Everyone is welcome!

A set that I created a little while back for a beautiful woman’s 3 children. She gave me freedom to paint what i felt, that alwyas makes me feel nervous. 🫣
She wanted a rattle and two hand shakers. I wanted to make something that represented ther chilrens spirit names. “Buffalo woman protecting the family, Hard head, and Blooming flower.” Here’s what I came up with. 🥰 🎨
