CraftD Cave Paper Crafters

You had plans…
But then Ontario did what Ontario does in winter 🎶

Snow. Cold. Icy roads.
And suddenly staying home feels like the best decision you’ve made all week.

If you’re in SW Ontario, you get it - our weather is wildly unpredictable. And honestly? Some weekends are just meant for cozy clothes, hot drinks, and creativity instead of travel.

That’s why I love our virtual crafting community.
You still get connection, inspiration, and creative time - without worrying about the roads or the cold.

✨ Feb 7–8, we’re crafting together virtually inside my Facebook group and hosting a virtual auction!
No pressure. No rushing out the door. Just you, your supplies, and a really lovely group of creative women.

💌 Want to join us?
Come inside.
Get your crafting supplies delivered right to your door.
And see what’s happening next inside the group.

Because sometimes the best plans… are the cozy ones 💙✂️

Crafting and baking don’t mix 😅

These were cinnamon rolls… emphasis on were.

I think I’ll stick to what I’m actually good at — paper, ink, and laughing with friends 💕

Anyone else have a kitchen fail to share so I’m not alone?

Some people decorate for Christmas.
I decorate for joy 💗✨

Crafting has never been about doing things perfectly for me.
It’s about feeling welcome, laughing a little, and making something that feels good in the moment.

That’s why my craft table usually looks more like real life than a magazine spread and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So tell me…

How well do you know me? ✨

December crafting style:

✨ Sparkle everywhere
🎄 Cozy & classic
😂 Whatever’s closest on the table

What’s your guess? Drop it in the comments 👇
And if you love crafting that feels cozy, joyful, and just a little sparkly - you’re in the right place.

This is the kind of card that makes me smile before it even gets an envelope 💗

A little bear carrying a stack of presents feels very December to me - doing our best, carrying a lot, and still showing up with heart.

This isn’t about perfect lines or fancy techniques.
It’s about slowing down long enough to make something that says,
“I thought of you.”

If you’re crafting this season with a slightly messy table, a warm drink nearby, and joy doing most of the heavy lifting - you’re doing it exactly right ✨

Tell me… who would you send a card like this to? 🐻🎄

✨ The colour combo I didn’t expect to fall in love with… but here we are.

Night of Navy, Shaded Spruce, and a touch of Copper - his trio from my Colour Coach turned into the coziest winter magic on today’s card.

Sometimes a project just clicks, and suddenly the paper, the ink, and the stamps all feel like they were made for each other.

For this one, I paired:
🌲 Nests of Winter DSP
🌨️ Branching Out Stamp Set & Dies
❄️ Falling Snow Stamp Set

Deep greens for grounding, navy for winter depth, and copper for that warm festive glow. Simple, elegant, and full of dimension.

Does your Santa need a little help this year? 🎅

Every year, someone in the CraftD family tells me they meant to tell their spouse or a loved one what to get them - and then it’s December 23rd and all the best stamp sets are sold out. 😅 This year, I’m making it easy.

Did you know that Stampin’ Up allows you to save your wish list (big or small) on our website? You can share it with me, and I’ll make sure it lands in the right hands - children, partners, Secret Santas… you name it. 💌

No awkward hints. No “oops, I didn’t know you wanted that.”

Just happy mail and a little extra Christmas sparkle. ✨

My table still looks like Christmas exploded… and I kinda love it. 🎄✨

There’s something about December crafting that brings out the best kind of creative chaos.
The ribbons that don’t get rolled back up, the scraps you swear you’ll use later, the glitter that mysteriously shows up on your face… it all reminds me that crafting isn’t supposed to be tidy - it’s supposed to be joyful.

This little mess is where the ideas spark.
It’s where the cards that make people smile start taking shape.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade this season’s creative explosion for a clean desk any day.

If you struggle picking colours, try THIS trio next.

This month’s Colour Coach trio might be my favourite yet: Shaded Spruce, Night of Navy, and Copper.
They’re rich, cozy, and absolutely stunning together-perfect for cards that feel elegant without needing complicated techniques.

In today’s reel, I’m walking you through why these shades blend so beautifully and how you can use them to elevate your next project… even if you’re just crafting in those tiny pockets of “me-time.”
