These two chairs were upholstered at different times with different methods resulting in very different seat feels.
The first one is done, and the second will be redone using springs for the more domed, cushier seat the client prefers.

A little face lift for this old building.
(Nearly 100yrs old!)
A couple years ago a big storm blew off a bunch of the siding. I was able to scavenge some off another shed that’s not worth saving. It took an unreasonable amount of time, and trips up and down the ladder to get those darned curves right.
And to finish it off, a beautiful barn quilt made for me by my good friend Shelley Bauer. We had spoken once of how that curved spot in the facade begged for a sign or something and she made those dreams come true! 😍

From traditional to contemporary

This is a new Honda with a combination of cloth and vinyl in the interior. The client didn’t like that the high touch areas, like armrest and door inserts were getting grubby so quickly. Easily solved by replacing the cloth with a good quality, wipeable vinyl.

Installed a few boat cushions today

My client bought a new side by side, but found the seat quite uncomfortable.
We decided to shave off the bolsters on the backrest as they were giving her sore spots by her shoulders.
On the seat bottom, I cut out a donut by the tailbone, and put a bit of softer foam there. I also built up a bit of support at the back.
Ready for an adventure!
