Wednesdays you can preview the grocery store flyers for the upcoming week. This is how I shop now: I depend heavily on the sale items! And I plan my meals around the foods on sale. The Flipp app has been super helpful with making lists of the things on sale!

A seasonal before and after! My husband built these boxes last spring and I added the mulched area this year to cover the grass that was never going to grow back 🤣 I was late starting the garden so my trellis dreams didn’t really come to fruition but hopeful for next year! Let me know if you have recommendations for what would work well for the trellis!

Can a family of 4 survive on $500 on groceries for the month in Yellowknife?! This is what I’m currently testing 🫣🤣 and not sure I’m gonna make it: I have $0.27 left until July 1! But this has really challenged me to use the foods in my fridge that I have on hand and shop for the deals!! Come back July 1 to see how I did 🤞🤞🤞

Loving all the light we’re getting now in the North 🙌 We’re on the other side of the darkness and it makes me happy.
