I don't know if I showed you any progress making this needle lace fish, I don't think I did! But I want to show you the finished product.

It was a bit frustrating to make, lots of repetitive button hole stitches! And then trying to hide the ends of thread was really hard due to needles not really fitting through the previous stitches. I had to use pliers and sacrificed a needle by bending it totally out of shape.

But I love the finished fish! The colours are great, and once I got to the filling in part, it was fun to spread out the patterns.

I'm not sure needle lace is for me, but I will be returning to some of these stitches in embroidery!

I got some new suncatchers to add to my collection!

I live in the attic at home and there are 3 velux windows in the roof which are perfect for suncatchers. The rainbows they make always make me happy! I'm really pleased with my collection so far :) and how cool do they look with the clouds behind?? especially since I have cleaned my windows for the occasion!

I have had a good day today! Silent book club was lovely and I finished my book!

Then ***rsocial did some lino cutting to create an activity for Huddersfield Pride. We are going to be lino printing to create merch, so people can bring an item of clothing to print on :)

I made a sheep, it's really tricky to line up the centre with the outline!

I've found a good spot to read in Cromwell Bottom nature reserve, Brighouse. It's a ledge overlooking the river so there is water and birds 🐦

I've been using the t-shirt yarn I bought from Thread Republic to make baskets!

I used the mosaic crochet pattern I designed for a workshop I did with them, probably about a year ago now. I just freestyled a circle pattern to make baskets instead of bags :)

I've been meaning to post about this lovely bag I received in a giveaway since January!!! Thank you .co.uk you make some gorgeous embroidery!!

I've been using the bag to carry craft projects around and today I used it to buy some supplies from Thread Republic, its their last week at the piazza and they are having a huge sale, got lots of goodies!
