Sumibi Yakiniku Nakahara

Chef Kentaro Henry's yakiniku restaurant specializes in wagyu beef tongue. Even if you've never had beef tongue before, if you love beef, then you absolutely need to try their "legendary" beef tongue course. It's truly is the stuff of legends, with 3 different cuts cooked to perfection right in front of you to showcase the different textures and flavors. This particular course was actually better at Nakahara than at my other favorite yakiniku restaurant…...

The Best Dessert Shops for Mango Sago in Hong Kong

As a Filipina living in Hong Kong for the past 9 years, one of my favorite things about this city is the sheer amount of amazing fresh mango desserts. Mango sago is easily the one I eat the most. The refreshing, not-too-sweet Cantonese tong sui (dessert soup) with juicy mango and chewy sago pearls comes in many forms, from soups to puddings and sorbets, often with the addition of pomelo and other bouncy toppings....

Breakfast of NBA CHAMPIONS!! 🧡💙🏆 SO PROUD of the New York Knicks 🏀 and still can’t believe we finally get to witness this after a lifetime of heartbreak. I wish we were back in NYC for all the celebrations, but shoutout to PEAK PIZZA for bringing a taste of home to HK with their viewing party at Jack's Racquet Room - pepperoni slices at 9AM never tasted so good!!!

6 months with Reyna Jade 🤩🤱🏻 I can’t believe it’s already been half a year since we received the greatest gift in the world. I literally feel the stress of my day melt away when she smiles at me (swipe to the end to see the best one 🥹).

My mental load is at an all time high, and just when I feel like I’m getting the hang of being a mom, it’s almost time for her to start solids 😅🥲 But having support has made a world of difference, between family visiting, mom friends and communities, and Mike being such a great girl dad.

Save this for your next special occasion 🥩🤩 seriously impressed us with their tender and juicy Bistecca alla Fiorentina that gave us flashbacks to our honeymoon in Italy, which makes sense since it comes from Tuscany’s famed butcher 🇮🇹

There’s gorgeous harbour views from every corner of the stunning restaurant, and you can’t miss the giant tiramisu!

This was definitely the highlight of our staycation at - comment “hotel” to get my full review of our stay including our harbour room tour and everything we ate and drank (don’t miss cocktails at !)

Your Thursday night plans are sorted thanks to .hkg’s live music nights 🎶🍸 Think Japanese-inspired cocktails and food in a vibey space, plus all your fave songs across genres by the talented 🎤

This has become one of my fave lounges in HK for their hip hop nights on Fridays, but it turns out they have really yummy food too (esp the karaage & tsukune) with an expanded menu for their Thursday live music nights (like chorizo pasta! 🍝)
