🇨🇭 AIRXESS BEHIND THE SCENES 🇨🇭

Usually we show you the masks.
Today you get the problem behind them.
Alec & Marco.

The last few months have kept us moving. Season start just added another gear.
And there are still plenty of masks in the pipeline.

So yes…
we better keep moving.

🚨We filmed 8 minutes of work and squeezed them into less than one.

Slightly accelerated for dramatic accuracy.

🇨🇭 AIRXESS SHOW CASE 🇨🇭

🚨 SEASON START! SWISS ICE HOCKEY 2026/2027

New to Airxess?
This is a goalie mask shell. Our canvas since 1993.
And sometimes it’s worth showing it before all the hardware goes back on.

This one will be pretty hard to miss on Swiss ice. Check out that neon look!
The original design came from Luca Cereghetti of Greenhope, who has been part of Sandro Aeschlimann’s mask designs for quite a while.
Marco took the idea and turned it into this. All painted by hand. Of course.

And while we have your attention:
Take a few minutes and check out Greenhope Foundation. They put an impressive amount of energy into projects for kids, families and young athletes.
Some things deserve attention beyond the ice.

🇨🇭 AIRXESS SHOW CASE 🇨🇭

33 YEARS OF AIRXESS! AIRXESS CUSTOM SERIES PART II

Back in 2014, we had an idea:
Take your (Airxess-) goalie mask. Put on your full goalie gear. And take it somewhere it clearly doesn’t belong.
———————————-———————
🚨Make it summer. Make it crazy.
———————————-———————
More than 25 entries came back. We picked the finalists. The community picked the winner:

🥇 —> Full goalie gear. On a wakeboard. At full speed.
Ok, no skates -

Yep. That did the job!

Looking back at this reminds us of one thing:
We had the best customers. We still do.

Thanks for 33 years of trust, great ideas and occasionally questionable levels of sanity.

🇨🇭AIRXESS SHOW CASE 🇨🇭

33 YEARS OF AIRXESS are getting dangerously close.

Under the label
AIRXESS CUSTOM SERIES,
we’re digging through the archives and pulling out some of the more unusual stuff we’ve created over the years.
————————————————————————-
Today:
CUSTOM EAR HOLES
Yes. Ear holes.
We made dozens of them back in the days. Some on our own masks, some even before we started producing masks ourselves.
Different shapes. Different ideas. Occasionally questionable levels of sanity.
Here are just a few survivors from the archive.
————————————————————————-
🚨Still have one made by Airxess? Dig it out.
Take a picture.
POST IT!

Next reel will be hilarious. Theme: Hockey Summer Special 😅

🇨🇭Airxess Showcase / AFTER finishing a design🇨🇭

Alec at work:
Rhode Island logo on the backplate for Nico Arcilla.
A piece of cake 😅

Nico and his father Francisco came into the studio for an easy task.

Oh, and they showed us a super nice watch with Nico‘s mask design on the back side! 😎 We‘ll show that soon.

Thanks guys!

Another one in a black-and-white design… this time with a huge chrome part. Check the reflections on the right and Cathedral San Lorenzo on the left. Lovely.
That design was made for Joren van Pottelberghe in August 2025. It’s one of two we made in the same year. A home and an away mask!
That’s the ultimate way to show love for goalie mask designs!

🔺SHOWTIME: ALEC AT WORK PART 2🔺.. and a short break for our family furry pal!

I almost forgot to shoot more vids for the „Making Of.“ Apologies for the missing steps! I just blended in some colors with the airbrush. Still woking with the scalpel and color pencils.

🚨Just like over the last few weeks, when it’s crazy hot outside, I sometimes have to interrupt my work. It’s sooo warm today, our biggest furry friend needed a shower!
Since I am currently working on this detailed fur desing, I thought it was a perfect match 😄
