After sixteen years of building guitars for others, I finally built one for myself.
Of course, it had to be a jazz guitar.
For years I admired the courage of Jimmy D'Aquisto, who dared to leave the traditional F-holes behind and create something entirely his own. His soundholes were never just a design choice — they were a statement that tradition should inspire, not limit.
This guitar is my tribute to that spirit.
I had always dreamed of owning a completely black jazz guitar. Deep black, elegant, uncompromising. A guitar that carries sixteen years of experience, mistakes, discoveries, and growth within its curves.

Sometimes the best ideas are born exactly where precision fails.

While cutting the wood for this guitar, a mistake changed the original plan.
But instead of hiding it, I followed it.
The result became part of the instrument’s identity — a reminder that true craftsmanship is not about perfection, but about reacting, adapting and creating something honest from the unexpected.

Curiosity in guitar making is not a luxury- it is a necessity. Without it, you get clean replicas, but never instruments with a true voice. Curiosity means questioning what is familiar: why one guitar feels alive while another, build to perfect measurements, remains silent in character. Why an idea works flawlessly on paper, yet fails in sound. Curiosity forces a slower pace, sharper observation and the willingness to face mistakes instead of hiding them. EVERY ERROR CARRIES KNOWLEDGE. Curiosity in guitar making means never believing you have arrived and knowing that this is exactly where the work begins.
