Over a year ago, Ueli Käser and Christoph Wyttenbach had the idea of creating a joint work.
It quickly became clear that it should be a black-nosed sheep. Carved from wood with a chainsaw.
In May 2025, we primed it together with black paint, then it went to Ueli’s studio and was painted over the course of the summer. Mind you, using only one size of brush.
In October, it was finished in time to be presented to the large audience at Olma St. Gallen.
Our joint journey has only just begun, so in the summer of 2025 we started a new large-scale project measuring 4m in length and 2.6m in height.
