Mieszkanie w przedwojennym budynku z lat 30. łączy w sobie elegancję minionej epoki z wygodą współczesności i osobistymi wspomnieniami właściciela.
W przedpokoju fornir wprowadza ciepło i doskonale współgra z ukochaną przez właściciela szafą z epoki PRL, a proporcje wysokiego korytarza poprawia tapeta zatrzymana na wysokości drzwi, budując przyjazną, ludzką skalę.
Strefa dzienna – największe wyzwanie tego projektu – została zaprojektowana tak, by była w pełni mobilna i otwarta na widok za oknem. Zabudowa stolarska skupiona na jednej ścianie tworzy subtelne tło, zamiast dominować, a delikatna zieleń kuchni udowadnia, że odpowiednio dobrany kolor może być jednocześnie wyrazisty i neutralny.
Kameralna sypialnia, dawniej kuchnia ze służbówką, to dziś intymna przestrzeń do odpoczynku. Wrażenie otulenia budują tu materiały i faktury zatrzymane tuż pod linią okna – dokładnie tam, gdzie odkrywamy wnętrze z perspektywy leżącej.
Łazienka, choć minimalistyczna, spaja całość aranżacji – ryflowane powierzchnie, naturalny dąb i czarne detale subtelnie nawiązują do pozostałych pomieszczeń, tworząc harmonijny i ponadczasowy efekt.

In the entrance, veneer introduces warmth and perfectly complements the owner’s beloved cabinet from the PRL era, while wallpaper, stopped at door height, improves the proportions of the tall corridor and brings in a more human, welcoming scale.
The living area — the greatest challenge of this project — was designed to be fully flexible and open to the view outside the window. Custom cabinetry, concentrated along one wall, becomes a subtle backdrop rather than a dominant feature, while the kitchen’s delicate green proves that the right shade can be both distinctive and surprisingly neutral.
The intimate bedroom, once a kitchen with a maid’s room, is now a cozy retreat. Here, materials and textures stop just below the window line, creating a sense of being wrapped in comfort — exactly at the level from which the space is most often experienced, lying down.
The bathroom, though minimalist, ties the whole interior together: fluted surfaces meet natural oak and black metal accents, subtly echoing the rest of the apartment and creating a harmonious, timeless effect.
