Gold Coast real estate development by Zalaba Design.

For this project, we developed both the interior concept and a series of photorealistic sales renderings to help potential buyers understand not only the property, but the lifestyle it could offer.

Natural light, warm wood, soft neutral tones, and carefully selected materials create a contemporary yet welcoming atmosphere. Organic forms and sculptural details soften the clean architectural lines, while furniture, artwork, and lighting give the interiors a distinctive identity.

Each visualization was created to present the future home as a complete experience, allowing prospective buyers to connect with the project emotionally before construction is complete.

I’ve always loved pieces that have a strong presence without trying too hard.

Some of these designs were created decades ago, yet they still feel completely at home in contemporary interiors. The Togo, LC4, Wassily and other iconic pieces have shaped the way we think about furniture, form and space.

Townhouse at Helvetiaplatz Zürich by Zalaba Design.

This contemporary city home was designed around natural light, comfort, and a refined sense of everyday living. Warm neutral tones, natural wood, soft textiles, and subtle dark accents create a calm and cohesive interior.

Large windows bring abundant daylight into the home, while soft curtains create a more intimate atmosphere throughout the day. The open living and dining area forms the social heart of the residence, while the bedrooms introduce warmer tones, tactile materials, and layered lighting for a quieter atmosphere.

Swisscom Bern by Zalaba Design.

This workplace transformation focuses on creating an environment that supports productivity while also encouraging comfort, connection, and interaction throughout the day.

A warm material palette, comfortable seating, textured surfaces, and carefully considered lighting create a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. Dining and lounge areas offer flexibility for informal meetings, focused work, social interaction, and breaks.

The ’70s are making a comeback in interior design, but this time with a more refined approach. Warm wood, earthy colors, rich textures, curved furniture, sculptural forms, vintage materials, terrazzo, travertine, brass, smoked glass, patterned rugs, statement lighting, modular seating, retro details, organic shapes, bold color, tactile surfaces, layered interiors, contemporary design, modern interiors, luxury interiors, residential design, hospitality design, boutique hotels, restaurant interiors, timeless design, design trends, and interior styling are returning in a more sophisticated way.

The appeal is easy to understand: ’70s design brought warmth, personality and comfort to interiors. Today, designers are keeping that character while editing the excess, creating spaces that feel nostalgic without looking dated.

Marché Restaurant Singapore by Zalaba Design.

The interior combines the warmth of an Alpine inspired setting with the energy of contemporary dining. Rich timber surfaces, red accents, patterned textiles, and distinctive lighting create a welcoming environment with a strong and memorable identity.

Natural wood brings warmth throughout the restaurant, while upholstered seating and carefully selected details add comfort and character. Red tartan lampshades and coordinated textiles create a consistent visual language across the different dining areas.

The generous glazing introduces natural light and creates an elegant contrast with the warm interior palette. Different seating arrangements provide flexibility while maintaining a cohesive atmosphere throughout the restaurant.

The result is a distinctive dining environment where materials, colour, lighting, and furniture work together to shape the guest experience.

A truly memorable interior design is never built on furniture alone. The most refined spaces feel alive because they create a dialogue between architecture and nature. That is why biophilic design has become one of the defining principles of luxury interiors.

A sculptural indoor tree adds height and balance to a living room, softens the clean lines of a modern interior, and brings warmth to minimalist design. In a Japandi interior, delicate branches reinforce the sense of calm. In an organic modern interior, natural greenery strengthens the connection between wood, stone, textured finishes, and daylight. Even a single olive tree, Ficus Audrey, or elegant indoor plant can transform the atmosphere more effectively than another decorative object.

The best designers don’t use plants as accessories. They use them as architectural elements that define proportion, frame a view, guide the eye through a space, and create visual rhythm. Whether it is a luxury living room, spa interior, hotel lobby, modern kitchen, dining room, or contemporary home, carefully selected houseplants, greenery, and natural compositions make an interior feel timeless rather than simply decorated.

The difference is subtle, but once you notice it, you will never look at home decor, interior styling, interior architecture, modern home, designer home, high end interior, natural materials, interior inspiration, luxury home, or interior trends the same way again.
