Our Scenography for the Exhibition of Eileen Gray’s Summerhouse E.1027 in collaboration with Katrin Trautwein and her team kt.COLOR die Farbmanufaktur about the specific Colors in this unique building lasts until 6th of October. Come and see yourselves on the groundfloor corridor House of Interiors and experience the amazing colorsurfaces in light and shade, a documentary, the Eileen Gray dress by paradis collections and the iconic adjustable table ClassiCon representing the revolutionary furniture created for this house. A wholesome installation, topped with next week’s evening Screening 1.9.26 of the Movie by filmdirector Bea Minger „E.1027 - House by the Sea“ (sign-in over the eventpage of houseofinteriors.ch)

Last week we were invited to visit USM Modular Furniture in Münsingen.

From a small workshop in 1885 manufacturing window fittings and door k***s to the world-renowned company they are today, their story is truly outstanding.

In the 60s they started the modular approach with the genius architecture of Fritz Haller — the Buchli House, built for the family of Paul Schärer right behind the factory. Only after this iconic building they scaled down the architecture to today’s modular furniture.

Thank you, Lukas and Haris, for the interesting tour and delicious meal at the birthplace of USM!

Rosalie König joined us in winter 2025, bringing with her a background in industrial design.
Three-quarters into her internship, she looks back on what that year has taught her so far.

“I’ve learned more than I could have hoped for. The range of tasks has been incredibly broad and I’ve been given so much trust to work independently along the way. I can’t imagine a better way to start my career.”

We were invited to refine visitors comfort with pieces from our IDI Collection: DOT and LOE, found their places within.
There’s something we never get tired of — seeing our own creations step into a given context and become part of its story. Shooting days like this one are always a highlight!

Five years ago, we designed the interiors of this stylish Thermal bath Wellness-Therme FORTYSEVEN
„47“ is the temperature of the hot water that come out of the local springs. Since the Romain Empire people have been benefitting from this incredible wonder of nature.

Now, we return for a touch-up - refining details, slightly adapting the infrastructure, implementing the operational learnings from the starting phase - giving the space renewed shine.

A week full of material celebration
Two events, two very different worlds, one common thread.rdv Natural fibres, woven textiles and lighting from makers across Europe - an international gathering of premium suppliers, right here in Zürich.
And just around the corner, Baumuster-Centrale celebrating 90 years as one of the city’s most important material resources. Handform bricks, glass in every finish, experimental surfaces - a reminder of how much knowledge lives in a single sample.
What we love most isn’t the catalogue - it’s the conversation.
A few inspiring hours among people who care about the same things we do.

Some things you have to feel

AI-generated moodboards are finding their way into client conversations. But no algorithm replaces the moment a client runs their hand across a stone sample and knows — almost without words — that this is the one.

Interior architecture lives in the exchange between people. In the physical encounter with materials. In the slow translation of a brief into something that feels exactly right.

We use every tool to support our ideas, and we invest in continuous learning to use them well.

The work itself remains ours.
