A project installation idea for Zurich Design Weeks lead to a new form of collaboration. Evolving together is more fun. Sometimes you just got to do it!

This summer, the jury for Raum und Wohnen “Furniture of the Year 2026” met in our studio House of Interiors in Zurich. Iria Degen joined This Weber , Prof. Werner Baumhakl and Laure Gremion to review the year’s new pieces.

Out of those discussions came 10 finalists. Some are strict and architectural, some soft and inviting, a few playful. All of them have a feel for material and atmosphere.

House of Interiors was built for exactly this kind of exchange.

Once again Paris treated us lovely!

Form, Farbe, Unikatnova x Iria Degen Interiors AG

Während der Zurich Design Weeks 17.09. - 27.09.2026 of Interiors

Durch Nils Novas malerische Handschrift verwandelt sich ein ausgewähltes Möbelstück aus der IDI Collection in einem Sondermass, in eine Serie von zwölf Unikaten – jedes nummeriert und signiert.

Vor Ort erwartet die Besucher:innen eine sorgfältig kuratierte Inszenierung der veredelten Objekte.
Eine begleitende Videodokumentation gibt spannende Einblicke in den Entstehungsprozess – von der Produktion bis zum fertigen Unikat.
