‘My trusty steed Bullseye’
I started making candles 10 years ago with a rice cooker ( still do sometimes) but quickly changed to this big boy. So convenient to melt large amounts at one time.

After 24 hours I use a heat gun to remedy any tops that aren’t perfectly cooled. Trim wicks and add safety stickers and labels or tags to each candle, melt or tealight. Ready to be priced, marketed and taken to markets or stores. If your lucky enough to buy a product that’s hand made, bespoke or individual, think about the amount of work that goes into that single item, by someones loving hand, not a machine or factory. That’s what you are paying for. 🥰

More maths … add total mass needed for candles I’m making and work out % of fragrance that I like to use, that’s candle safe and smells good. Everyone is different and fragrances also act differently too. Melting wax to a certain temperature then allowing to cool to desired heat before adding fragrance. And stirring, lots of stirring. To reach another desired temp before pouring into jars. Centering wicks for optimal burning and wait.
