PDLC film ,whose light scattering power is adjustable through applying an electric field.When power off,visible light scatters through the PDLC and the film turn opaque;when power on,visible light transmits the PDLC and the film turns clear.The film is composed of PET film,ITO film,polymer and liquid crystal molecules. Self-adhesive PDLC film is an intelligent film which provides a simple and cost

effective alternative to switchable film technology.It’s a manufactured with a self-adhesive cling layer on one side(peel and stick) which can be directly sticked on the existing glass and switch from transparent to opaque instantaneously under electricity application.It can meet the double requirements of the glass on penetrability and privacy protection. Switchable smart glass also called smart windows or switchable windows,which is an high-tech product can switch from transparent to opaque instantaneously.It’s transparent when power on and opaque when power off,light transmission properties can be changed when voltage applied. The glass is composed of toughed glass,EVA film and PDLC film which form a sandwich like structure.The use of smart glass can save costs for heating,air-conditioning and lighting.When opaque,it can block most UV.
