Song Wenzhi was a Chinese Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1918. He was introduced as one of the pioneers of Chinese modern painting innovation in the large album of "Chinese Painting in the 1960s" published in Hong Kong. His works are powerful and magnificent with profound artistic conception as well as unique style. Some of his works have either been recommended by China Artists Association to be displayed in important art exhibitions of different countries or have been collected by many world-renowned domestic museums.

Song Wenzhi Art Museum is located in Taicang, Jiangsu, which is hometown of the artist. It has collected Song's art works and his art collections from Ming and Qing Dynasty as well as some art works by modern and contemporary calligraphers and painters.

The old site of the Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime is the palace site of Emperor Aixinjueluo Puyi in the late Qing Dynasty when he was the puppet emperor of the Puppet Manchukuo State. The museum site covers an area of 137,000 square meters, with cultural colletions near 70,000 pieces. The exhibition "1920s Fashion - 100 Years Ago from Now" held in the museum shows a selection of 119 pieces (sets) of cultural relics and treasures related to Puyi's daily life collected by the Palace Museum and the Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime, including clothing, tableware, furniture, photography equipment, etc.

Jinsha Site Museum is a themed museum established on the original Jinsha ruins, which is an important archeological discovery of ancient Shu civilization. The permenant exhibition "Fit for a Prince: Treasures of Zhuang of Liang with Prizes from Zheng He's Expeditions" in Hubei Provincial Museum displayed the trappings of Prince Zhuang of Liang unearthed from his tomb.

Prince Zhuang of Liang lived during the reigns of the Yongle, Xuande, and Zhengtong emperors. Between 1405 and 1433, the Ming court sent the eu**ch admiral Zheng He on seven voyages to countries bordering the western sea. Crossing the Indian Ocean, the fleet visited 30 countries, increasing the contact between China and lands to the west. In the tomb of Prince Zhuang of Liang, the many precious stones and gold items purchased from the west give witness to glory of this era of exploration. The silverware, jade items, jewelry, apparel, crowns, belts, and instruments used for the practice of Ta***ic Buddhism show the early Ming era's mastery of gold and jade work, while the many cultural artifacts reveal the unusual love story of Prince Zhuang and the Lady Wei.
