Genuine Dashuitan Tianqing Ni from Huanglong Mountain.
Recorded in Ming & Qing ancient texts. The fragile 20–30cm ore vein was sealed decades ago after flooding. Unprocessed raw ore is extremely scarce.

Great porosity locks in tea aroma. It matures into a stunning jade patina over time.
Ideal for Hong Cha, oolong, pu-erh, Liu Bao & aged white tea.

This teapot “waisted palace Lantern” totally changed my first impression after I started using it. Even though it’s from our entry-level collection, its charm completely blew me away.

At first glance, it didn’t stand out that much. But once I brewed tea with it, its silky smooth texture and understated elegance really shone through. It has such an ancient, rustic vibe.

I was really surprised by the quality for an entry-level piece. The craftsmanship is super meticulous too. The clay is Qianxi Zini, a material that’s not overly popular right now. It was discovered alongside Tianqing Ni, forming a natural symbiotic ore. It has wonderful, subtle grain and a lovely smooth finish.

This little pot is such a pleasant surprise, I highly recommend grabbing one. Its slightly taller body works perfectly for black tea, ripe Pu’er and Hong Cha.

Today’s pick: Xiao Mei Yao - Kuang Lan Zhai | Jin Xuan - Taiwanese Oolong | Claming Incense from my Dharma Mater Jie Hai.

After a hectic day with the kid yesterday, all I need is some me time with this cutie. This is the second time I’ve used this specific piece, and I find it really brings out the rich fruitiness and aroma of the tea every time. That’s why it’s so important to always use a quality Zisha teapot. The gloss starts to come out, and it’s soft and smooth, calming my soul.

As a perfect match, I light some incense from my Dharma Mater Jiehai. It’s all made, worked, and purified with mantras and mudras by him. This incense is crafted strictly according to the recipe from "Ta**ra of Liberation Through Scent."

It dispels malevolent auras and demonic hindrances, purifies karmic impurities inside and outside the human body, clears negative ethereal substances in the air, and eliminates all inauspicious filth and malign influences. I often use it when there is a lot going on around me. It really calms my mind and soul.

• Ore source: Closed-mine Huanglongshan symbiotic ore with natural three-color mineral formation
• Origin details: Baoshan Duanni (also called Tuanni) is mined from the Baoshan vein in Yixing Huanglong Mountain. It naturally combines purple clay and green clay. Thin, fragmented veins have led to long-term mine closure, making authentic raw material very rare.
• Raw stone features: Grey-green base with purplish-brown streaks, naturally embedded with yellow sand, red sand, and black fine particles, along with scattered silver mica flakes.

Authentic Dashuitan TianQing Ni RARE! Limited Available!
Genuine Tianqing clay comes from the ancient Dashuitan vein of Huanglong Mountain, Yixing, recorded in ancient Ming & Qing pottery books. The ore exists only in a thin interbed of 20–30cm, capped with pear-skin clay. The mine was flooded and closed decades ago. Original ore is nearly exhausted, ranking among the most precious zisha purple clays.

Excellent porosity holds tea fragrance well. The pot develops jade-like patina gradually. Perfect for oolong, pu-erh, Liu Bao and aged white tea.
