Looking back at the first few steps in the process of making my new “ornament” cups, or “facade-inspired” cups, when I was sculpting from scratch every single ornamental model, in four or even five different sizes.
I was doing this based on my photos and sketches ✍🏼

I’m proud of this successful attempt to fully enjoy and patiently go through every step, while keeping a vision of future needs in mind. The fact that I made these facade fragments in various sizes meant that, in the next step, I could create molds in different sizes as well - allowing me to reproduce them later and use them across various products in the future. Yeeeyeey!

One of my favourite parts was drawing and shading each ornament. This helped me select my favourite three designs - the ones I knew I wanted to “borrow” and bring into my own work. And carving was so satisfying, you know how much I love carving!!! 🥰

Make your own cup using the intuitive pinching technique, decorate it with engobes, and leave it with us for drying, glazing, and firing.

Small group (up to 6 people)
Price: 5000 RSD per person, or 9000 RSD for 2 atendees

Create your own plate or bowl using slab rolling technique, decorate it with cutouts made from coloured clay and with details made with nerikomi technique, and leave it with us for drying, glazing, and firing.

Our premium Made of Dust gift boxes are now available on the website 🤍

Handmade locally in small batches, each box is made from warm, natural-toned paper and finished with our champagne-gold logo. Simple, tactile, and made to feel like part of the gift itself.

Two sizes are available:

LARGE | 32×32×21 cm
Designed for larger sets, plates, bowls, vases and other pieces, or a generous combination of ceramics.

MEDIUM | 27×15×12 cm
Fits two larger cups (200 ml), with or without standard saucers, or up to 8 espresso cups (100 ml).

I had a below-average day, when this little detail caught my eye on a facade in Sinđelićeva Street. It was just the first of many little details that sparked new inspiration in me. And some of them kept reappearing around my neighbourhood, giving me this feeling that I was discovering and forming this “only known to me” library of objects carrying this once-super-trendy elliptical daisy-rosette design

I was so impressed by its simplicity, beauty and texture and immediately wished to revive it in many different ways. Initially on a vase, which I did, but this one will stay away from the public eye until I find my desirable amount of decoration on the vases…but then I started visualizing all the different objects this little flower wanted to live on.

And, what can I say - it made my day, and my life, better in a second!

• Leather hard •Handy• cups with facade ornaments, beautifully arranged on my desk, looking very attractive to me 🤩 while waiting for their 4th and final day of shaping and retouching! 4 days of work just on their form - can you believe?!

Day 1 - throwing
Day 2 - trimming and making handles and ornaments (ornaments made with valuable help from my assistant Saša)
Day 3 - touch-up and attaching handles and ornaments
Day 4 - additional work on texture, carving, checking all “joints” and final touch-up

And that’s for a batch of only 10 cups!

Not counting the more than 3 months I spent collecting, sketching and sculpting my ornaments of choice (in 4 sizes each). Also, making my own molds based on the chosen designs. Including learning how to make them.



How excited and grateful I am to be able to share my process of making with you, without the fear and rush to finish everything there is to finish before I put things out.



It’s been an unnecessary additional burden to carry during a long and enjoyable process of dreaming new projects into existence, always worrying for months and months about how much I am going to show.



But, life is short and our best is happening now!✨
So, this is where I stand now. I want the process to be back at the forefront of this page, while inspiration is at its peak and my creative impulse is strong, rather than simply piling up in my gallery, where all these unshared photos and videos become an even heavier burden to carry.



At the end of the day, it’s all about the time and love invested in the becoming, which is later felt and appreciated while the objects are in your possession.

I will keep you updated on my progress and also go a bit back in time and show you some mold-making visuals as well.
