These cups were made quite spontaneously. I like when the clay remains untouched in certain areas, and the glaze only partially moves over it.

With this one, I played with texture. The glaze just catches the high points and lets the light do the rest.

I carved the vertical lines into these teacups before the final surface was complete. Once finished, the darker marks gave the texture more depth, while the wheel lines remained visible inside.
