Γαμήλια Στέφανα και συμβολισμός✨

Στην Ορθόδοξη παράδοση, τα Στέφανα είναι κάτι πολύ περισσότερο από ένα όμορφο γαμήλιο κόσμημα. Συμβολίζουν την ένωση δύο ανθρώπων, καθώς ξεκινούν μαζί τη ζωή τους ως μία οικογένεια.

Τα Στέφανα συμβολίζουν δόξα και τιμή, αλλά και τη χαρά, την αφοσίωση και την αυτοθυσία που απαιτεί ο γάμος. Στην Ελληνική Ορθοδοξία, τα δύο Στέφανα ενώνονται με μια κορδέλα — ένα όμορφο σύμβολο του δεσμού που ενώνει το ζευγάρι.

Την ώρα της στέψης, ο ιερέας προσεύχεται:
«Κύριε ο Θεός ημών, δόξῃ και τιμῇ στεφάνωσον αυτούς.»

Η δημιουργία των Στεφάνων για μένα, είναι ένας τρόπος να μετατρέψω αυτή την σημαντική παράδοση σε κάτι προσωπικό — ένα μικρό, χειροποίητο κομμάτι ομορφιάς που θα γίνει αναπόσπαστο μέρος της ιστορίας in ενός ζευγαριού. 🤍

A timeless piece of jewellery that combines a touch of luxury with the freedom of the bohemian soul. A necklace to treasure forever!

Luna is made of 360 small Baroque fresh water pearls, carefully crocheted together in a 150cm chain, with discreet gold accents and two large focus beads at the two ends.

It can be worn in different ways, depending on your outfit and your mood!

I’ve been experimenting with polymer clay and coffee granules, and these little earthy treasures are what happened.

The GypsyMermaid Studio is taking a little summer pause. 🌊

From today until the end of August, I will be stepping away from the studio to rest, recharge, gather inspiration and let a few new ideas grow beneath the surface.

And then…
I’ll be back. ✨

Recharged, inspired and ready to dive headfirst into creating the Fall Collection — with new treasures, new colours and, of course, a little GypsyMermaid magic. 🐚🌙

Until then, thank you for being here, for loving the things I make, and for following along on this little mermaid adventure.
