At Happy ANTS we love to make people happy by designing unique spaces where your personality and needs are met in an energy saving, ergonomic and cost efficient manner. We believe that our clients deserve the best, so we go out of the way to find a better way to design their space. The Founder and Chief Designer at HappyANTS is Stavriana Antoniou. She completed her studies in Interior Architecture

in Germany and after gaining work experience in Germany and Ireland she returned home. For 15 years she has worked as a lecturer at two different academic institutions in Cyprus and for one year she was the Head of the Interior Design Department at one of them. The name HappyANTS does not imply anything about design but it describes the aspiration and goal of the company to make customers happy through the design of beautiful and unique spaces where people love to spend time, as well as the design of beautiful and unique objects which people love to use over and over again. Ants are the most hardworking and energetic creatures, always thinking and acting in advance! They have the best organized community between all creatures and they use a different, almost unique approach each time they build their nests adapting to the given circumstances. Just like that, HappyANTS use a unique approach for unique design as unique as each customer is and we always adapt to our customer’s taste and needs.

There should be enough light to work without you having to get eyestrain! This is valid for working at any time during the day. Place the desk near a window to ensure there is enough daylight on it during the day to avoid having to work with artificial light. When it gets dark then a desk lighting fitting should provide similar light as daylight. The lighting fitting should be placed in a corner of the desk on the opposite side of your writing hand to avoid creating shadows and have an adjustable arm and head so that you can make sure the light falling on your desk will not fall directly into your eyes.

You will need to keep your files, books, and other things you need for work tidy and at the same time at reach! A desk drawer is essential to keep small things inside but it is not enough; it’s better to have a set of drawers as well as a storage unit such as a bookcase, a cabinet, or shelves. They should match the desk and chair in style, material, or color, if you don’t want to go for a set.

Our sitting posture is key to our well being and this is valid also whilst sitting at our office desk... Teenagers and young people often take peculiar postures while studying and this can lead to serious spine health issues. U can avoid these by getting an ergonimical office chair for u and setting your desk at an ergonomical height for u!

Working from home? Or maybe you are looking for the right option for your teenager child to do their ?
Many people prefer to place their in a corner of their bedroom, but is this really the best place for a ?
If u decide to go for this room, then u need to take into account a few things: 1st u need to provide enough sunlight this corer of the room, preferably place it near the window. 2nd there needs to be a "mental" separation from the bed (eg a room divider or a plant), otherwise u will not be able to rest once u are in your bed. 3rd u have to make sure that the furniture are comfortable and ergonomical for working because u will be sitting for many hours there.
