Να ξέρουν ότι κάποια πράγματα δεν αλλάζουν και χρειάζεται να τα σεβαστούμε. Όχι για ό,τι μας πάει μπροστά, αλλά για ό,τι μας κρατά πίσω και συχνά βαφτίζεται ως «ανάπτυξη».
Η πραγματική πρόοδος δεν αφαιρεί την αυθεντικότητα και την ιστορία.
Γι’ αυτό, όποιος επιλέξει να δραστηριοποιηθεί εδώ, πρέπει να το κάνει με σεβασμό, υπομονή και αγάπη για ό,τι κάνει την εντός των τειχών Λευκωσία μοναδική."

Announcement! ✨
Where it all began!!

Christmas at Ermou 272 holds a very special place in my heart, as it reminds me of where everything began ! My first studio on this little street, back when hardly anyone passed by.(Which now is koroues cafe)

We worked so hard to turn this Christmas market into a yearly celebration. First with Genny, and later with so many wonderful people who got involved. Our lovely neighbours became family, and we called it Open Studios & Houses.

I could write for hours about it, and about the incredible love we’ve received from people over the years — it’s truly unimaginable.

This year, I won’t be part of the event and I wasn’t able to get involved at all. My work plans didn’t allow me to prepare anything for Christmas, as I’m working only by orders this season! Also a massive project for the Cyprus Presidency of the council of the European Union at the Ministry of Culture is around the corner.

However, this weekend, join Ermou 272 and support my creative family.
I won’t be there in person, but I’ll be there in spirit 🤍

Day one at Antama Festival was incredible! Creativity filled the air, and the Silkworm Cocoon Workshop was such a highlight. Of course, the night ended with dance, and today I can’t wait to welcome another group for the workshop. Today Antama is the place to be!!!!Don’t miss it!

The people who live and breathe Nicosia; standing strong against the passage of time, their gazes profound, wander silently around the city’s green line in a way only they know. It is as if they share a well-kept secret between them. Eager to maintain their connection to their roots, they keep a small wish inside their hearts, ready to take us, the passers-by, to a tender journey. We invite you to seek them out and meet them. What makes this place special and unique is exactly this human geography, not the narratives that are constructed around it, and it does shy away from putting the finger into existing stab wounds.
