A little piece of Cyprus, made to travel.

This mini quilt was a special order from Mr Panayiotis, who wanted to take a piece of home with him to Greece as a gift for a friend.

Cut in the shape of Cyprus from cotton fabric, it is quilted with black thread, tracing the island’s six districts, while the main cities are hand embroidered. The red line marks the division that has shaped so much of Cyprus’ story.

A small map, a lot of stitching, and perhaps a little bit of Cyprus nostalgia — now ready to hang above the front desk of a hotel in Kato Epidavros, Peloponnese.

Μια μικρή αναδρομή στην περσινή μας χρονιά, μέσα από μερικές από τις δημιουργίες που παρουσιάστηκαν στην έκθεση του Ιουνίου.

Ήταν μια όμορφη χρονιά, γεμάτη χρώμα, δημιουργικότητα, νέες γνωριμίες και φυσικά… πολλή αγάπη για το χειροποίητο.

Αν βλέποντας αυτές τις δημιουργίες σκέφτεστε «θα ήθελα να το δοκιμάσω κι εγώ», ίσως ήρθε η ώρα!

Το πρόγραμμα της νέας χρονιάς είναι ήδη διαθέσιμο στη σελίδα του Δήμου Στροβόλου. Δείτε τα εργαστήρια και τα μαθήματα, βρείτε αυτό που σας ταιριάζει και ελάτε στην παρέα μας.

Οι εγγραφές ξεκινούν τη δεύτερη εβδομάδα του Σεπτεμβρίου και τα μαθήματα τον Οκτώβριο.

Κάθε δημιουργία ξεκινάει από μια απλή ιδέα και την απόφαση να δοκιμάσεις κάτι καινούργιο.

Last Thursday was our last workshop for the summer before we all head to the beach to rewind, recharge, and come back in September with even more creative workshops! ✨

What a perfect way to wrap up the season!

Our Sock Plush Workshop was an absolute blast! Twelve participants created twelve adorable plush animals, and not one looked like another. It's always incredible to see how everyone starts with the same materials and ends up with something completely unique.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us and made this afternoon so creative, fun, and full of smiles. Your enthusiasm and imagination made the workshop truly special.

A big thank you to Orestis for hosting us once again at Kafeneio Prozak . It's always a pleasure creating in such a wonderful space.

And now... it's time to meet our little plush family. Honestly, isn't it impossible to choose a favourite?
