Gooood morning!

This cabinet had been waiting in my workshop for a few months. I actually picked it up from the street ages ago🙈
I have a feeling someone made it themselves and that's why it's more unique for me. I can9 kind of tell from the way it was cut, how the hinges were fitted, etc. I had no idea what to do with it for a long time, but as soon as I ordered my wallpapers I immediately thought of this cabinet🤍💫

Good morning lovely people.
-available piece

Let me introduce you this pine beauty. I'm grateful for an opportunity of creating something what few weeks ago was just an idea.
So here we have...flowery pattern on the front door, wooden trims around it. And linen colour for the cabinet but I couldn't forget about the beauty of wood. Wooden top and base which was only lime washed.
Next time I will post the cabinet with photos from "before". 🌱

Sage staircase,indian wood cabinet 🪾🌿

I've always wondered where the name "Indian Wood" comes from.

I bet u can see it in furniture listings all the time. But it's not actually a type of wood.. It's just a name used for furniture made in India and usually from sheesham which is an indian rosewood, but sometimes from mango wood or acacia too.
So the name is really about where the furniture comes from, not the wood itself but it's still nice to know some history about the exact piece of furniture🌿🤍

Rosewood is such a beautiful wood and always with rich grain and natural patterns.
There’s plenty of it in this piece so I wanted to share a few photos to show just how unique it looks🌱

Good morning!

🌻This tall display cabinet was done some time ago. I'm happy we managed to cure the wood as it was really damages by sandblasting.
🌻So sandblasting as you can see on the first part of the reel is not the best option for wood.
It was a lot of sanding and paint wahing the wood so I could cover all the discoloration and pores but finally the result was worth all the work.

Let's focus on details of this gossip bench.
The perfect fabric is not an easy task.

My client asked to find a vintage fabric with soul; delicate,easy to clean and with character.
And this one seems to be a perfect choice. Gobelin fabric which is woven,not printed. Beacuse the fabric is the second hand item as well - it's loved and very useful again🌿

A small glimpse of what I’ve been working on recently.
I’ll just say that this piece of furniture will become another memory of a loved family member🤍
It will remind my client of her grandmother and I hope it will remain a part of their space for long time😊
This is exactly what gives meaning to restoring old furniture for me.

Beautiful sunny monday here,in Cyprus.
These high bar chairs are still available for sale. Painted in olive green, made of solid pine wood. I'm happy I could give them a makeover, just look at the second picture and what a difference,right?
