This one-of-a-kind villa, built in 1936 by architect Ing. Vilém Beer, deserved all the attention we could give it. With its curved windows and beautiful detailing, our goal was to to create a floorplan that fits a modern family’s needs while keeping the historical soul of the villa intact. ✍️

We fell in love with the windows, the curved ones especially, and knew we wanted to build the whole layout around them. That meant plenty of seating tucked underneath, spots to relax, and places to come together. We tried so many floorplans and were going back and forth with the client but in the end we found a solution.

We moved the kitchen and dining into the most beautiful part of the home, the curve! THE CURVE! The best way to enjoy it every single day. ◐

We completely reimagined the bathroom too. We wanted the bathtub set beneath one window and a view out into the greenery from the shower. The idea to connect the bathtub and the shower into one space came later one - but we love it so much! The shower creates warmth, so later on, if someone wants to enjoy the bathtub, the space stays nice and cosy.

Everything else we shifted just enough to carve out as much storage as possible, making the most of every last centimetre. 📐

Project Barrandov / Move in day! 💌

1.5 years later the day has come and the client is moving in! Sometimes projects take their time, and this one was one of those, a lot of thought and detail went into it. This one-of-a-kind villa, built in 1936 by architect Ing. Vilém Beer, with its unique curved windows and details, really needed all the attention possible. And not just the building details, the furnishing details as well. We really wanted to bring in lots of vintage furniture!
Thank you Unlikely and Lavish for being the best partners in this area. We chose vintage marble coffee tables alongside the iconic La Bambole sofa by Mario Bellini, and added our beloved icon, the Little Petra chair from Design Propaganda (it’s the comfiest piece ever!). And speaking of comfy pieces... the Dorsen bed is the most comfortable thing one could ever dream of. Literally. The whole team had to test it out. Literally, see for yourself.
For art, we chose the inspiring Taja Spasskova!

👋🏼 Long time no see - summers for us means busy reno season! And Vinohrady renos seem to be our jam. Take a peek into this project where every cm² mattered (again!). Playing Tetris with the floorplan and trying to fit everything in even when it seems impossible? Done. We really wanted to cherish this apartment’s beautiful architectural details. It had incredible doors and wall moldings so the plan was clear… blending old and new, using darker chocolate tones, mixing stones and adding deeper hues. Say hello to this lovely apartment. 🤍

We love how this apartment is coming together and the bold client who decided to go for it and go bolder than usual. Breccia marble, double bullnose edges, bold handles, colors & little details that make the apartment so fun to explore.

Znáte ten moment, když přijedete na místo, kde víte, že si opravdu odpočinete. Místo, kde všechno tak nějak přirozeně sedne a vy cítíte, že následující dny budou úplně bezstarostné..

Přesně s tímto pocitem jsme navrhovaly interiér pro developerský projekt Vlny Modřany - domov, který plynule navazuje na rytmus řeky i okolní přírody.

Chtěly jsme vytvořit místo, kam se budete chtít vracet a znovu dobíjet energii. Hlavní roli tak v interiéru hrají teplé odstíny dřeva, broskvové podtóny a terakota. Studenější chrom odráží pocit okolní řeky a vytváří tak v interiéru pocitový balanc. Pracovnu jsme zasadily do obývacího pokoje tak, aby měla soukromí, ale zároveň se člověk v ní cítil tak trochu součástí rodinného života. ✨
