Ghee is not only an excellent source of healthy and high-quality fats, but also has demonstrable beneficial effects on our health. It is rightfully ranked among so-called ‘superfoods’. Why to choose our ghee? We use only the best quality butter, both in usual and organic quality. Thanks to our unique recipe, it has an excellent taste and aroma. We produce ghee manually with high quality requirements. We have been keeping the principles of manuall production because we believe that this is the only way how to achieve the required quality standards. We are continuously growing and increasing our capacities, however we continue with handmade production.

THE STORY OF CZECH GHEE COMPANY

In the beginning there was a women who learnt how to produce ghee according to a traditional Ayurveda recipe. Because ghee wasn`t an usual product in the Czech Republic before, it was a new experience for the people who were given a home made ghee from our founder. Everyone was excited about the ghee and its features since the first moment. Combination of amazing product, satisfied consumers and the lack of such a product on the market led to the idea of founding a company, which was called Czech Ghee.

The first batches were home made from a small butter cubes bought in supermarkets. In 2015 company moved to its first production premises. The only facilities we had were old gas cookers and some pots, where ghee was made manually by our first employees. We travelled around the Czech Republic and we took a part in many street-food events and farmers markets. We talked with people about ghee, spread the knowledge of its beneficial features and explained why to use ghee for daily cooking.

The combination of great product, manual production and our passion meant that Czech ghee was getting its popularity among customers since the very beginning. The company was going through a succesful launch on the market.

The Czech Ghee products were becoming more and more popular on the Czech market and founders could be proud about getting their products to the first supermarkets and stores. As we have believed in the quality and value of our products since the very beginning, in 2016 we decided to go beyond the borders and show the world what we do. For the first time we attended Biofach – the world leading traid fair of organic sector - as an exhibitor. We got a very valuable experiences and found out that ghee as a product has a great business potential on other markets. It made us even more excited about what we do and gave us self-confidence on our way.
