Table design and manufacturer: Georg Schoettle, 1957, Stuttgart, Germany
This beautiful table is unfortunately unmarked, but according to the previous owner, it was purchased in 1957 from the Georg Schoettle furniture store in Stuttgart and manufactured by the furniture factory of the same name in Waiblingen, Germany.
With its elegantly curved three-legged frame, the table is reminiscent of earlier table designs by Josef Frank. The base is made of solid beech. The plate-shaped tabletop has a raised edge made of solid walnut. The decorative table surface is covered with a contrasting and impressive star-shaped walnut veneer arranged in a hexagon.
