Have you been to the Frameworks Studio?

Open Tuesdays- Friday from 10-17h for consultations. But Saturdays the Studio is closed. A perfect time to show you around. The wood workshop and the framing studio are separated, and our spray room is up the stairs.

In 12 years, we’ve built well over 20,000 frames — more than 10,000 of them from upcycled wood. 12 years has seen students become parents. People pass away. Dogs adored. Artworks purchased. You’ve brought us stories of your travels, your families, your passions and your homes.

The team grew. We opened two locations in Berlin. We built an online shop, and a new business artframers.com

But the focus has remained the same: Your memories are valuable. And art looks better framed.

Why there’s POP UP coffee at Frameworks?

From August 1, there’s a new reason to swing by our store on Mariannenstraße, two-month espresso pop-up right in the middle of the shop.

Behind it is Hoa, aka Antibarist — someone who talks about beans and brewing the same way we talk about wood and glass: with real experience. He won’t ask what you usually order — he’ll ask what you actually like.

For the first two weeks of August, every hot drink is just €3. Espresso, cappuccino, filter — all of it.

You don’t need a frame to stop by for a coffee. But if you come with a picture even better! If you are talking to us about framing, there is an espresso with it.

Come by! ❤️ ☕️

We have a bunch of new artworks up on our website framed exactly how we want to showcase them.

Simple, beautiful ones you’ll know, like this lithograph from Alberto Giacometti  “Portrait d’homme”, one from an edition of 3,500. Others by local artists we love and want to see more of.

Alberto Giacometti (1901–1966) was a Swiss sculptor and painter, best known for his thin, elongated bronze figures. Alongside the sculptures he drew portraits like the one shown here.

We framed it in oak with a black stain and white lime patina (ceruse finish), 10 × 28 mm profile. Anti-reflective art glass, float mounted in a spacer frame with shadow gap. 39 × 49 cm, ready to hang.
