Although it's pretty quiet on my feed I'm super busy in the workshop working on big sized carved green wood bowls from beech.

Scaling up (or down) is always fascinating. Design elements don't always scale well. What works great on a small piece sometimes doesn't works at all on a big one and also the other way round. You never stop learning.

Green wood bowls from spalted beech. Turned and slightly brushed. No sanding.

The last two weeks I was pretty busy getting as many pieces finished to dry as possible before we head to Mallorca for a week. I usually try to finish most of the pending work at least one or two days before leaving for a vacation, but since I caught a cold two weeks ago I finished my work just in time... so I'm feeling a bit stressed out.

Nevertheless I'm really looking forward to a week under the Spanish sun 🌞
