Sometimes the best way to tell the story is to let others do it.
Our friend Pierre Wittig from HiFi Zeile perfectly captured our time together at Norddeutsche HiFi Tage 2026.

Norddeutsche Hifi Tage 2026 - gemeinsam macht es doppelt Spaß
Die Außen-Alster war klirrend kalt gefroren, aber bei uns war die Bude muckelig warm, gefüllt mit Musik und einer Menge interessierter Besucher.

Die erste Hifi Messe im Jahr 2026, die Norddeutschen Hifi Tage in Hamburg haben wir zusammen mit unseren Bremer Freunden, der Manufaktur Mapu Speakers gemeinsam bestritten. Uns verbindet nicht nur die räumliche Nähe von Worpswede und Bremen, sondern auch der nachhaltige Ansatz in unserem Schaffen. 

Dass die Aufarbeitung von Hifi Klassikern gegenüber dem Neukauf sehr Ressourcen schonend ist, sollte nicht weiter verwundern. Doch dass man auch bei der Herstellung von neuen Lautsprechern so einiges anders machen kann, das zeigen die kompakten Aktivlautsprecher von Mapu Speakers eindrucksvoll.
Beeindruckend war auch wieder, welch voluminöser Klang aus den kleinen Breitbändern kam.

Einige Besucher gingen gar auf die erfolglose Suche nach einem versteckten Subwoofer, weil sie solch ein Bassfundament doch einfach nicht aus einem so kleinen Lautsprecher kommen kann - doch, es kann.

Alles in Allem wieder zwei wunderbare Messetage dank tollem Publikum und guter Organisation.

We’re excited to announce our first participation at Norddeutsche HiFi Tage (Hamburg, Jan 31–Feb 1), together with our friends — Room 203.
We’ll be showcasing our handcrafted ceramic speakers, created in small workshops in Portugal and Germany using clay, wool, cork, and precision Danish acoustic engineering.
And for the first time, we’re bringing a work-in-progress preview of our upcoming Mapu Preto G2, featuring AirPlay 2 and Multiroom.
This version is not final—it’s part of an open development stage where we listen, learn, and gather real feedback from the HiFi community.
