Underwater 23 . Oil on canvas. I was reminded of beach partys

Sometimes you cannot say where the body stops and the reflection begins. And the light comes so strong that edges vanish and blend with the water. That’s why I find underwater painting fascinating. Trying to create a similar impression on a piece of canvas. Struggling with the combination of colors and paint. Cool over warm and dark next to light.

Still painting the summer. A month ago I was spending all my free time by the sea at this beach that I keep painting over and over again. Sometimes under the shade of the trees with my coffee and sometimes shooting photos under the water.
On my easel today 40x40 oil on canvas . Still unfinished.

Summertime. Last days of vacations still painting the beach and the fruit and the waters

Last days of vacations . It’s 33 degrees and my favorite beach at noon is bathing in sunlight. As long as the weather holds it will be full of people.
And I will keep painting it

Summertime and the living is easy…. a 20x20 cm painting of a scene that I liked at the beach.
I made me feel the relaxation of summer when you can sit by the sea for hours with the water wetting your feet and you dont mind .

Looking sadly at the swimming pool as if 4 hours of splashing around and drowning their aunt - that’s me btw- was not enough 🙄.
