Und weiter geht‘s mit den Teilnehmern der diesjährigen „Jury Selection Kids Design Award“!
Posted • This Saturday, our presentation of the winning entries of the "Kids Design Award 2021 Jury Selection" is all about "children's furniture".⠀
⠀
The two German designers Nina Hacker and Lukas Konrad made it into the selection with their wardrobe "SDEGN", which is especially designed for use in kindergartens.⠀
We think the wardrobe cuts a good figure not only there! :)⠀
⠀
Nina and Lukas are currently studying "Integrated Product Design" at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.⠀

SDEGN:⠀
SDEGN is the optimal wardrobe for all kindergartens. Thanks to the modular system that grows with the child, the single elements can be attached individually, adapted to the size of the child. One of SDEGN's goals is to teach children order through play and to anchor this order in the child's mind. This should create a certain ritual that they can use not only in the kindergarten, but also everywhere else. To give each child a sense of welcome or belonging, each space can be individually designed. SDEGN also offers a smart solution for dirty clothes, such as rubber boots and muddy pants, to match the modular pegboard. These are stored in a separate locker system. Thanks to the airy perforated plate, open doors and a loose plug-in system, all wet and dirty clothes will now have their firm place.⠀
