Jam Session 1 at the 10th Crossroads Festival at No1 Guitar Center in Hamburg

Just like in previous years, the 10th Crossroads Festival hosted by No1 Guitar Center in Hamburg was absolutely fantastic. There were plenty of musicians in attendance: Markus Deml, Marco Wriedt, Ulrich Rode, Victor Smolski, Stefan Stoppok, and Vanessa Jung, to name just a few.

During the jam session on the final night, the musicians showed off their skills. Here’s a short clip featuring Vanessa Jung on my ORION Fine Dessert, along with Ulrich Rode, Christian Adameit, and Tobias Held.

For the ORION Red Sinner, I allowed myself the sin of painting it in Candy Apple Red at the request of some customers.

To express the sin in the sound, smokin‘ hot Häussel HOT humbuckers were used. There’s plenty of steam behind it and the string action can be adjusted to a minimum on request.

The oiled maple neck has an inlaid walnut fretboard as a special highlight. The grain of the fretboard continues seamlessly into the truss rod cover. A very elaborate option.

The ORION Red Sinner with optional chrome-plated aluminum parts is real guitarporn. Please check this guitar at the Guitar Summit.

My new Expression-Whammy will make its debut at the 2026 Guitar Summit in Mannheim.

It’s a whammy bar that doesn’t detune the guitar but instead generates an expression signal. This signal can then be used to control all kinds of effects pedals, as well as a pitch shifter.

You can try out the first prototype on my SIRIUS prototype at the Summit. Everything’s already working very well.

Das ist ein Whammy-Bar, der nicht die Gitarre verstimmt, sondern ein Expression-Signal erzeugt. Mit dem Signal lassen sich dann alle möglichen Effektgeräte, aber auch ein Pitch-Shifter ansteuern.

My new CANIS bass will make its debut at the 2026 Guitar Summit in Mannheim.

The CANIS is based on the SIRIUS guitar and also features moveable pickups.

Thanks to its design—which includes an aluminum centerpiece and a bridge inspired by a double bass—the CANIS offers long sustain, excellent string separation, and an extremely fast response. Maybe the fastest bass on earth.

Am Guitar Summit 2026 in Mannheim ist die Premiere meines neuen CANIS Basses.

Der CANIS ist abgeleitet von der SIRIUS Gitarre und hat ebenfalls verschiebbare Pickups.

Durch das Konzept mit Aluminium-Mittelteil und einem Steg, der von einem Kontrabass abgeleitet ist, hat der CANIS ein langes Sustain, hervorragende Saitentrennung und eine extrem schnelle Ansprache. Wahrscheinlich der schnellste Bass auf Erden.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an No.1 Guitar Center für die Einladung zum 10. Crossroads Festival. Ich freue mich wieder sehr, bei euch ausstellen zu dürfen!

Liebe Musikerinnen und Musiker aus dem Raum Hamburg. Es würde uns sehr freuen, wenn ihr am 12.9.26 zahlreich vorbeikommt und Instrumente anspielt. Ich habe dieses Jahr auch einen Bass mit verschiebbaren Pickups und eine Überraschung für Pedal-Freaks dabei.

Besonders freut mich, dass im Abendprogramm Vanessa Jung meine Gitarren spielt. Kennt ihr schon ihr neues Album „Full Steel“?

Thanks to the lightweight construction using wood and aluminum, I’m able to keep the weight of my ORION and SIRIUS models down to 2.4 kg. When I use heavy woods like olive or oak, the maximum weight I can achieve is 3.4 kg.

The hybrid design promotes a very fast attack, long sustain and optimal string separation. It also allows for the movement of the pickups.

The ORION Red Sinner Custom has found a big friend with its new owner: The Ottifant guitar.

For all non-German followers: Ottifant was created by the German comedian Otto Waalkes. Otto is known, among other things, for his humorous German interpretations of rock classics and is simply a cult figure in Germany.

Jens Ritter built the guitar for Otto. Together, they decided to build a second Ottifant and auction it off for a good cause. That’s how the Ottifant ended up with my client, where it keeps the ORION in excellent company.
