We’re getting closer and closer to the very first Quilt Ireland Expo, and we can’t wait to welcome you all for two days of quilting, creativity, community and plenty of fabric! 🧵💚

From workshops and live demonstrations to exhibitions, talks, shopping and the chance to meet fellow quilters, there’s so much to see and do across Friday and Saturday. Take a look at the schedule and start planning your visit!

We’re delighted to welcome both the Southern Branch of the Irish Patchwork Society and the Mid-Western Branch of the Irish Patchwork Society to the Quilt Ireland Expo!

As part of our programme, both branches will be bringing a wonderful collection of quilts for a special Walk & Talk Exhibition - giving you the chance to see the quilts up close and hear the stories, inspiration and creativity behind them.

🧵 Friday: Join us for a Walk & Talk with the Cork Branch of the IPS and discover the beautiful quilts they have brought along to share.

🧵 Saturday: We’ll be joined by the Limerick Branch of the IPS, showcasing another delightful collection of quilts.

Two branches, two collections and lots of beautiful quilting to enjoy!

Die Vorfreude steigt jeden Tag! 🎉 In nur vier Wochen öffnet die erste Quilt Ireland Expo in Killarney ihre Türen und wir von The Basement Sewing Room freuen uns riesig, dabei zu sein! 🇮🇪💚
Es wird ein Wochenende voller Kreativität, Inspiration, neuer Ideen und wunderbarer Begegnungen. Besonders freuen wir uns darauf, Quilterinnen und Quilter aus vielen verschiedenen Ländern zu treffen, Erfahrungen auszutauschen und voneinander zu lernen. 🌍🤝🪡
Die Quilt-Community verbindet Menschen über Grenzen hinweg, und genau das macht solche Veranstaltungen so besonders. ❤️

✨ ONE MONTH TO GO! ✨

We can’t believe it’s only one month until Quilt Ireland Expo and we are SO excited!

We’ll be there with The Sewing Shed shop, alongside some fantastic vendors, and we absolutely cannot wait to see so many familiar faces, meet new makers and spend the weekend surrounded by all things quilting. 🧵

And… we’re bringing something brand new with us! 👀
