I’d love to invite you to an intensive session of creative ceramics – MAKE A VASE ✨
We’ll begin with sketching ideas for your sculptural form. Your concepts can be abstract, bold, organic or completely unexpected – together we’ll discuss their potential and adapt them to the coil technique.
Over four intense hours, I’ll guide you through one of my favourite ways of working with clay. We’ll explore the dialogue between your hands and the material itself, learning how to build large sculptural forms in a way that feels intuitive and expressive.
I’ll show you the foundations of the coil technique, my personal tricks for speeding up the process and making ambitious structures stable, as well as ways to rescue your work when things suddenly start collapsing or cracking. Because trust me – they sometimes will. :)
This workshop is not only about creating an impressive vase or sculpture. It’s about opening the door to sculptural thinking, understanding form in three dimensions, and discovering just how limitless clay can become once you stop being afraid of it.
