The project features LUCTRA® VITAWORK® UP 12 EU free-standing luminaires in white. They combine direct and indirect light to deliver uniform, glare-free illumination – ideal for a wide range of working situations.

Integrated presence and daylight sensors automatically adjust light levels as needed. In addition, employees can personalise their lighting settings to suit their individual preferences, enhancing comfort and wellbeing throughout the working day.

A new way of working in a new environment ✨

At the end of September 2025, the administrative team of RUCH Novoplast GmbH moved into their new office space in the newly constructed Technical Works building in Oberkirch.

Spread across the second and third floors, the modern workplace offers space for focused work as well as collaboration and exchange.

With this new environment in place, the next step was to create the right lighting solution - one that is functional, flexible and comfortable for everyday use. 💡

We are delighted that our mobile, battery-powered LUCTRA® FLEX UP® has been honoured with an iF Design Award.

Earlier this week, we attended the iF Design Award ceremony and accompanying events in Berlin. Beyond the award itself, we were particularly inspired by the many conversations, perspectives and impulses surrounding the future of modern workplace and lighting solutions.

The exchange with international designers and experts once again highlighted how important well-thought-out, flexible and user-centric products are for the working environments of today and tomorrow.

For us at DURABLE, this award is both a confirmation and an incentive: we develop solutions that combine design, functionality and everyday usability – for better work environments.

Our new flexible floor lamp LUCTRA® FLEX UP® has won the prestigious IF Design Award.

The award was presented in the discipline Product Design, category Lighting, recognising the innovative and outstanding design of the LUCTRA® FLEX UP®.

Its minimalist, clean design enhances any space and creates a sense of order, while well-considered details such as surface and edge protection as well as intuitive touch controls ensure maximum flexibility and ease of use. The rechargeable floor lamp combines timeless design with durable technology and sustainable added value.
