Pouring the Riverbed with Epoxy Resin

The landscape is complete. Now it’s time to pour the river with epoxy resin 💦

I used two separate layers of epoxy resin to create more depth and bring the flowing currents to life.

A few final details are still missing. Then I’ll show you the finished Wild River on the wall 🌿

Dieses Video bedeutet mir wirklich viel 🫶🌿

Wenn ich daran denke, wie viele Jahre, Ideen, Versuche und Arbeit hinter diesem Moment stecken, macht es mich unglaublich stolz, dieses Werk heute so zeigen zu können.

Für mich ist genau das Naturkunsthandwerk: rausgehen, die Natur erleben, beobachten, Inspiration sammeln – und diese echten Momente anschließend in Kunst verwandeln.

ISAR URSPRUNG – The Final Reveal

Nach fünf Teilen des Nature Art Process ist es endlich so weit: „Isar Ursprung“ ist fertig 💚

Mit 220 x 100cm Breite ist dieses Naturkunstwerk eine echte Sondergröße und als exklusiver Kundenauftrag entstanden – inspiriert von meiner Wanderung und der ursprünglichen Landschaft der Isar.

In den nächsten Wochen wird das Werk abgeholt und bekommt seinen endgültigen Platz in einer besonderen Firmenloge. Bilder davon zeige ich euch natürlich auch noch.

Jetzt seid ihr dran: Was glaubt ihr, was kostet ein handgefertigtes Naturkunstwerk dieser Größe?

Nature Art Process | Isar Ursprung | Part 5/5

The final resin layer is here.

In Part 4, you saw the deeper currents underneath the surface. Some of you thought there was too much white, but this layer was necessary to create the depth, turquoise tones and powerful movement of a wild river.

Now, the final layer adds the finer white currents on the surface and completes the 3D effect.

And with that, the creation process is finished.

Thank you to everyone who followed this journey from Part 1 to Part 5!

Nature Art Process | Isar Ursprung | Part 4

Now the river comes to life.

For the second resin layer, I’m creating the wild currents of the Isar. I use two different matte tones, turquoise and white, to build the deeper currents beneath the surface.

Using a heat gun, I carefully shape the resin and create more movement, giving the river a much more dynamic and powerful appearance.

But this is still not the final layer. A third resin layer will follow, adding the brighter white water details and cells on the surface. Together, these different layers create a strong 3D effect and give the water its depth.

In Part 5, I’ll finally show you the finished artwork and how the complete piece looks on the wall. I can’t wait to show you the result!
