Finally an update on the last firing. Last cone was 14 (the „guard cone“) but it was still ok, not so much catastrophes. You can come and see a good part of the firing at the potters market Frechen. ⁣

I'm doing it (once?) again. "Stoneware Glazes for Woodfiring" will take place in spring 2024 at the ICS Kecskemét. Join us for more than a week of experiments and fire - and lots of fun. In contradiction to the headline this is a general glazes workshop. We will use volumetric blendings and glaze calculation software for a faster learning process, something you can use for developing any kind of glaze. So if you find yourself tired of making glaze experiments with little or no progress this will be something for you.
