REAL vs RENDER vs BEFORE.

A first look at a recently completed residential project in Weil der Stadt, Baden-Württemberg, starting with one of the bathrooms.

The existing bathroom was stripped back and the ceiling opened up to reveal the original timber beams, bringing more height and character into the room.

A high tiled skirting runs throughout, connecting the different areas and continuing behind the custom made vanity. The vanity was designed specifically for the space, with a stone top, two countertop basins and handmade brass handles from Italy.

Warm oak, terrazzo, mint coloured tiles and brass bring texture to an otherwise restrained palette.

Beige would have been easy.

But animal print is our neutral.

For an apartment in Austria’s Zillertal, we’re mixing alpine heritage with icy blue, tiger print, antique wood, brass and deep aubergine.

The finished picture always looks easy…

What you don’t see are the hundreds of decisions that happened before.

Like standing on site, measuring the exact position of a pendant light. Checking it again. And probably again.

For us, interior architecture doesn’t end with a concept or a beautiful rendering. We plan it, we detail it and we stay involved until what existed on paper actually works in real life.

That’s the job. And honestly, the construction site is one of my favourite parts of it.

The best concepts don’t start with Pinterest.
They start with listening.

Every client, every place and every project has its own identity. Our job is to understand it and translate it into space.
This concept combines an office and event space on an equestrian estate. 🐎
Instead of turning horses into a design theme, we translated the character of the place into architecture through materials, atmosphere and carefully considered details

We couldn’t resist adding a little fun with the Judy Beau wallpaper.
