Featuring the Deepah Stool by Pendhapa Architects. A study in proportion and quiet geometry, the stool’s sculptural form is defined by soft curves and precise joinery. Crafted in white-washed oak, it brings a subtle architectural presence into the space, balancing warmth, functionality and refined craftsmanship

Its carefully considered silhouette highlights the beauty of simplicity, where every line and connection serves a purpose. Both understated and distinctive, the Deepah Stool embodies a timeless design language that seamlessly merges architecture and furniture, creating an object where simplicity carries both structure and character.

CATILINA by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena.
An iconic piece first presented at the XI Triennale
in Milan, defined by its linear, almost drawn expression. With its slender metal structure and curved gesture, CATILINA explores the boundary between chair and object — more presence than volume.

Neither made for lounging nor excess comfort, but
for posture, conversation and a certain sense of dignity. A design that subtly dictates how it is used, where form and attitude become one.

Carving the Waves by Christophe Delcourt, presented in Milan in April 2026, is a composition where structure and surface exist in quiet balance. Solid forms are softened through subtle gestures, while the surrounding elements create a layered dialogue between material, proportion, and texture.

An exploration of rhythm and restraint, where each piece contributes to a calm and architectural expression.

Christophe Delcourt for Collection Particulière.

Starting with the JIA secrétaire in brushed oak, where structure becomes the design language — defined by precise joints and subtle rounded connections. From there, the setting opens into a softer dialogue: the RIO sofa with its continuous, sculptural curves, and the SLY low tables where craftsmanship is expressed through refined cut-outs and material depth.

Across each piece, curves and details are not decorative, but essential — shaping both form and function.

Some more impressions from Milan Design Week 2026 — always a return, never just a visit.

There’s something about coming back to Milan in spring: the light, the textures, the quiet details that reveal themselves slowly. Familiar, yet constantly evolving.

Milan has a way of lingering with you. And returning always feels like stepping back into a rhythm you never quite forgot.

Collection Particulière unveils L’objet de mon affection — a cohesive collection defined by sculptural woodwork, soft volumes and a quiet sense of connection.

Carving the Waves by Christophe Delcourt — an exploration of movement in wood, where craftsmanship meets a more expressive, fluid form.
