It’s been almost two years since my last Paris exhibition, and I’m excited to share this next evolution of my work.

From November 7th-10th I will return to Paris for «Reverberation» with and at .

With over 50 works on display, including new pieces, I delve deeper into my exploration of glass, light, volume, and color.

A special portrait film by will be screened for the first time, offering exclusive insight into my creative process.

«Monuments», my latest solo exhibition at in Lisbon, pays homage to the visionaries who redefined the world of architecture. This collection features 16 photorealistic portraits, crafted using my signature “anti-creation” technique—a process that transforms shattered glass into vivid and lifelike representations. Each piece celebrates the legacy of modern and contemporary architectural pioneers, capturing their spirit and influence in a medium as fragile yet enduring as their groundbreaking work. By drawing inspiration from their monumental contributions, this exhibition seeks to bridge the worlds of art and architecture, bringing these iconic figures to life in a new and thought-provoking way.

OPENING TODAY: Simon Berger’s ‘Monuments’ at Underdogs

“I’m excited to present ‘Monuments’, my latest solo exhibition at in Lisbon. This collection is a tribute to some of architecture’s greatest pioneers, showcasing 16 photorealistic portraits created through my signature “anti-creation” technique. The show draws inspiration from modern and contemporary architecture, bringing these monumental figures to life in glass.

In this space for “Gods of Olympus – A Study on Monumentality”, I delve into the representation of the twelve Olympian gods, using a distinctive pictorial approach. My goal was not to create a simple mythological evocation but to reflect on the enduring weight of these symbols in our collective memory.

The natural light streaming through the glass ceiling is integral to the experience. It fragments and reshapes the works throughout the day, subtly reinforcing the idea that these gods remain contemporary figures, constantly engaging with the questions and dilemmas of humanity.

Installing my latest exhibition in Paris with and , inspired by the idea that “the sky is the limit”. This series pays tribute to ambition, resilience, and the power of perception, inviting viewers to engage with glass in a new way.

The Series Olympus honors the spirit of the Olympic gods, drawing from the Parisian glass ceiling to reflect timeless ideals. Electri-City explores unseen forces, as fine fissures create tension within the glass, while Diorama rethinks perspective, one fractured pane at a time.

Together, these works celebrate the journey of perseverance and vision.

In preparation for this project at , I focused on capturing the universal experience of being on the move. Using the windows of an authentic subway car as my canvas, I explored the journeys we take and the encounters that shape us—both with others and ourselves.

To bring this vision to life, I selected espionage glass, a material that is transparent from one side and reflective from the other. This duality became central to the work, allowing me to create portraits that merge with the viewer’s reflection, sparking a dialogue between the self and the artwork.

Each step of the process, from conceptualizing the travelers to installing the reflective glass, was about evoking the shared adventure of life. The subway car transforms into a space where perspectives shift—what appears as a mirror outside becomes a canvas inside—inviting viewers to reflect on their journeys and what it means to be human.

It was a pleasure to showcase my most recent piece, a lion on mirrored glass, at with . This piece explores the balance between illusion and reality—a tightly controlled visual lie that feels alive. The mirrored surface invites viewers to see themselves within the artwork, merging their reflections with the lion’s powerful presence. This interaction creates a unique dialogue between the observer and the piece, symbolizing strength, vulnerability, and self-awareness. Art Miami was the perfect setting for this exploration, and it was inspiring to watch people engage so deeply with the work. Thank you for being part of this unforgettable experience.

Fantastic evening at for the opening of my exhibition. Performing live in front of an audience is always an exciting experience—there’s nothing quite like the sound of the hammer on glass filling the room, mixed with the quiet gasps of awe from those watching.
