From the first beam to a finished shelter – all in a single day!
Today, a new bicycle shelter was built just around the corner from our headquarters along a popular cycling route – using our KiriBloX 150 and sawn Paulownia timber from our own production.
The photos show the entire construction process, from early this morning to the finished structure in the afternoon. It is always impressive to see how quickly robust and attractive wooden structures can be built with KiriBloX.
The new shelter will provide cyclists with a comfortable place to take a break while also demonstrating the potential of Paulownia as a sustainable building material: lightweight, dimensionally stable, and highly versatile.

KiriBloX are now available in the HORNBACH online shop.
Starting next week, KiriBloX will also be available on the shelves of selected HORNBACH stores for the first time.
As soon as the participating store locations are confirmed, we will, of course, let you know here on our page.
We are delighted that sustainable construction with Paulownia wood is becoming accessible to more and more people.
