The book is two in one. On the right-hand side is German, and when turned, on the left-hand side is English. The front and back are therefore covers. There is no beginning and no end. Through the reflection of the viewer in the cover, they can “read„ their own face.

He is currently exploring the history of face reading and facial recognition to understand how photographs become predictions. His works manifest themselves in the form of photographs, video essays, Desktop performances, exhibition installations and artist books.
Megan Williams (born 1995, UK) is an author, editor and researcher in the field of art based in London. Her writing has been published in The Guardian, Elephant, CNN and Creative Review, where she was part of the editorial team from 2019 to 2025.
The C/O Berlin Talent Award is presented once a year in the categories of art and theory to a tandem under the age of 35. It comes with prize money for both winners, a solo exhibition and a custom-designed publication. A joint artist talk rounds off the collaboration between theory and practice.
